The PRO for this course is to be Dyer Harris. Amy Kehoe Has been a bit ill but informs me she is just fine now and looking forward to her Opti clinic in the JOs. If she continues to be OK she will patrol the Green fleet and coach the kids around the course. I had thought that it could be a good match to have her in the boat with Rich McCue for coaching. Lance Williams will assist Dyer and do the scoring and recording. One or two more people would be helpful for this and the other circles, as each of the circles has a PRO and recorder.
If the Opti circle is to run a Trapezoid course we will need a second boat to take finishes and a total of four mark boats. At this time we have one mark boat and need three more mark boats and a finish boat. Any ideas out there?

Rich will be happy to assist Amy on the Opti course. Amy and Rich hit it off at last years JOs when the pro-boat broke down and she joined Rich on our dingy.
ReplyDeleteThe opti ballet with synchronized sailing was a site to see! I think Amy is an awesome addition to the event. I know the parents (besides the McCue's) were really impressed with Amy. She covered on-shore rigging tips, sail strategy (on a whiteboard), then out on the water she had them practice tacking, jibbing, etc.
